Our afternoon horse camp is a great camp for those that like sleeping in and then riding all afternoon.

This camp is all about horses. When the campers arrive the horses are already saddled.  Campers just get on, and get riding.

Campers will take lessons, play games,  but most of all, trail ride.  Campers love our mountain trail ride.

We take boys and girls, ages 7 to 16 years old with riding experience.  This is not an appropriate camp for children with limited or no riding experience.  Each camper must be able to confidently ride a horse or pony at a walk and trot without assistance.

Campers will get to help unsaddle, groom, and put their horses to bed.  They will talk about horse care and why it is a big responsibility.

This is a very relaxed camp. The emphasis is on our campers spending long hours in the saddle, and most of it on the trails.

There is no graduation for this camp. Instead parents will be welcome to come meet their child’s camp horse or pony on Wednesday at 5:45 p.m.  This eliminates the need for the campers to practice a parents show.

Each camper must bring a water bottle and an afternoon snack. Because of allergies, we are no longer doing group trail-mix.
